Firefighters battle blaze on Mount Pennsylvania (Read More)..

READING, Pa. - Firefighters are battling a blaze on the Reading side of Mount Penn.

Crews were initially dispatched to the area of the mountain behind Reading High School shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Firefighters from the city and the suburbs, including a task force of tanker trucks, are attacking the flames from both the base of the mountain off North 13th Street and from above on Skyline Drive.

There have been no reports of injuries or damage to any structures on or near the mountain.
